BRIEFING ON THE ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURE FOR DRUG ABUSE IN RBAF

TANAH JAMBU, Thursday, 13 February 2020 – Major Isewandy bin Murni, Chief Counselling Officer RBAF delivered a briefing on the administrative procedure to RBAF personnel found to be positive on drug abuse at the Auditorium, Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces today. Amongst the audience were the Commandant DA RBAF, Deputy Commandant DA RBAF, Senior Officers, Officers as well as other ranks of DA RBAF.
 
The briefing was aimed to explain on the new procedure which will be effective on 1 April 2020 with regards to the administrative actions imposed to rank appointment holders (Lance Corporal and above) when found to be positive of drug abuse. The Chief Counselling Officer RBAF also emphasized on the danger of the misuse of controlled drugs and how it leads to social issues.
 
This briefing is beneficial to all RBAF Officers and personnel which provides self-awareness on the risk of drug abuse to individual as well the organisation as a whole in the hope that it will contribute positive impact to RBAF.
