KAMPONG TANAH JAMBU, Monday 27 February 2017 – The Closing Ceremony for the Writing Skills Course Series 2/2016 was held at the Lecture Theatre of Leadership and Management Centre Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (LMC DA RBAF), Kampong Tanah Jambu. Present as the Guest of Honour was Lieutenant Colonel (U) Pg Hj Mohd Hasreen bin Pg Hj Ali Hassan, Chief Instructor of DA RBAF.
This ceremony witnessed 19 course participants who have participated in this course as part of the mandatory career course for promotion from Lieutenant/Lieutenant Junior Grade to Captain/Lieutenant. Apart from presenting the certificates, the Guest of Honour also presented awards for the first time to those who have excelled during the course ever since the course was introduced in 2012. The Overall Best Student as well as the Top Academic Essay Writing was awarded to 1031 Captain Siti Husnulkhatimah binti Hj Md Yassin, whereas the Top Military Service Writing went to 916 Lieutenant Junior Grade Juraidah binti Baidi, RBN.
