- With the consent of His
Majesty the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Negara Brunei Darussalam, Minister of Defence and Supreme Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), 107 Royal Brunei Armed Forces officers were promoted to new ranks.
The promotion ceremony took place at the Berakas Camp Officers’ Mess. Present as the Guest of Honour was Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah, Commander of the RBAF.
Three of the DA RBAF officers were among 107 RBAF officers promoted in the ceremony. 771 Major Dk Nur Izzah Nazurah binti Pg Mohammad, Directing Staff 2 of Leadership and Management Centre DA RBAF was promoted to Substantive Major. Meanwhile, 860 Cpt (U) Muhammad Adif bin Hj Zaman promoted to Substantive Captain and 928 Lieutenant Junior Grade Muhd Adib Izzuddin bin Hj Ramli, RBN promoted to Acting Captain/Lieutenant (RBN) and both are Wing Commanders at Officer Cadet School DA RBAF.
Also present at the ceremony were Services Commanders, Directors, senior officers and officers of Ministry of Defence and RBAF as well as family members of the promoted officers.
