Gadong, Tuesday, 02 July 2019 – Intermediate Staff Course (ISC) Cohort 19/2019 held a farewell dinner at the Rizqun International Hotel, Gadong to convey their deepest appreciation as the course nears to a conclusion.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Colonel Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commandant of Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF). Also in attendance as invited guests were the Deputy Commandant, Chief Instructor, Head of Leadership and Management Centre (HLMC), Senior Directing Staff of Command and Staff College, Commanding Officer of Officer Cadet School, Directing Staffs of LMC and ISC Cohort 19/2019.
Upon arrival, the Guest of Honour was invited for a group photograph session with other invited guests. The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah by one of course participants of ISC 19/2019. Highlights of the farewell dinner included a speech delivered by the Commandant DA RBAF, emphasizing on the values of humility, resilience, respect and dignity to be instilled and practiced amongst the cohort. He also took the opportunity to recognize and appreciate the dedication of officers and personnel of LMC throughout the conduct of the course whilst congratulating the cohort for their efforts displayed in the course.
Other highlights included the presentation of mementoes to HLMC, Lieutenant Colonel (U) Muhammad Amiruddin bin Haji Tuah and international participants of ISC 19/2019, as tokens of appreciation to LMC as a whole. The Directing Staff of LMC were also celebrated for their contributions with gifts presented by HLMC. A joyous and warm occasion, the farewell dinner marked another milestone for ISC Cohort 19/2019 as the fourteen-week course draws to an end.
